The HIDC’s theme is “Design Driven Innovate Hainan”, which is striving for building a design island with innovative designers around the world. The innovative design shall bring vitality to Hainan, including cultural tourism design, architectural & environmental design, industrial design, and digital creative design etc.

Below is the information for entries collection of the HIDC:

Entry Collection:

-The HIDC is FREE to enter.

-The Submission is from Aug. to Oct.10th, 2022.

-The Award Ceremony is scheduled to be held in Oct. 2022.

Benefits:

• Chance to win the competition bonus

Awards Setting:

• Gold Award sets for 3 awards, RMB 50,000/award

• Silver Award sets for 5 awards, RMB 10,000/award

• Bronze Award sets for 20 awards, RMB 5,000/award

• Excellent Award is granted to the designers who enter into the Final Jury.

All the awardees shall receive incentives like preferential policies on business importing to Hainan Free Trade Port. Together with mainstream media and industrial organizations, the HIDC would provide publicity to further enhance the social influence of excellent designs selected by the Final Jury.

What materials you should provide:

• 2022 First Hainan International Designer Competition Registration Form and Entry Form

• Design Drafts, Design Statement, Layout Design, Modeling Photos, and other related materials

• Design Document attached with main design drawings in physical or digital

• Video or animation on the introduction of the submissions within 3 minutes (Optional)

• Physical entity or dimensional scaled model of the submissions (Optional)
